Emerald Hills Medical Centre is proud to welcome Dr. Ferdous Marjan to our clinic. She is a skilled and dedicated General Practitioner (GP). Dr. Marjan received her Primary Medical Degree from Dhaka University, Bangladesh (2004) and then obtained further training with a Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr. Marjan has also completed the MRCOG-1 exam for obstetrics and gynaecology through the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the UK. Additionally, Dr. Marjan was recently awarded the Young Gynaecologist Award by the Asia and Oceania Federation of O&G (AOFOG).
Dr. Marjan has particular interests in the areas of general practice, chronic disease management, women's health, pediatrics, and mental health. She is also an accredited provider of antenatal shared care, experienced in the insertion and removal of IUCDs and Implanon, and skilled in cervical and sexual health screening. As well as her experience in general dermatology, Dr. Marjan also provides skin checks and minor skin surgeries, skin cancer excisions and has completed the certificate course in general dermatology.
Currently, Dr. Ferdous Marjan is employed at Western Sydney University as a GP academic supervisor and enjoys teaching and ensuring that her patients receive the highest quality of care.
