Novelember Day 30

4100 words today! 

I was going to do a writing marathon if possible and thankfully I slept well and my headache went away. I did some work on printables 1st (reading a writing book--which got me already thinking about writing) then reread what I wrote on Monday, wrote some notes... looked at my notes for the next part, then finished the last sentence. That sparked writing the rest of it. I actually didn’t use what I wrote yesterday in my notebook. Oh well. 

once I got to writing, it flowed quite well. perhaps faster than normal because I started writing about 11 and had 4100 words by about 2 (if I remember right. maybe 2:30...but that’s when I was getting lunch...)

a lot of reaction to what went before-- and a lot of things to react to so perhaps that’s what helped. a time to reflect and figure out what happens next. for the characters and for me I suppose

nearly 350k words now... maybe there already. 

something I thought of a while ago that seemed to fit... 

happiness but at the same time... lots to recover from and then

finale 

I did think maybe I could stop here. then start the next story... but. I don’t think that works. what do you think

Novelember Day 2

I didn't have to go anywhere today and I didn't get to write over the weekend so I figured I'd write this morning. It is Novelember after all. I can make writing a priority.

I wasn't sure how to start though. I didn't think it was going to be that difficult but. Turns out I had to figure out a bit more what the characters were feeling (bc last time I was rather unclear). I read the last chapter with Jason and Gray. I wrote down some notes. By this time it was around noon. I really wanted to get some writing done today though.

Finally I wrote some words. 1700.

I thought I had an idea of what the characters would do, but they decide in the moment. Which shows the limit of planning. Too much planning can get in the way of the characters and story if you're trying to fit them rigidly into a box they dont want to be in. Always the balance.

600 words today!

Didn't get to writing til about 8:30 pm. I was so tired my eyes started to stay closed when I blinked. I looked at and rearranged some notes and reread and edited but I wanted to get some writing done. I could at least do a few sentences . And voila! Hundreds of words.

Helped that previous part ended on a question so I just had to think of the answer to get everything rolling

Stakeout.... uneventful so far... Muldavian snacks :)

700 words today!

I wrote tonight and had enough time bc I did my schedule right. Still, my mind fuzzed out at kne point. I wrote nonsense words and couldn't think. I pushed through it and wrote some more

I wrote last few lines them thought, that's a mistake. Better fix it to make more sense.

2100 words today!

Finally a good bunch of words. Got enough sleep and had some time. I started about 9:30 but did get sidetracked a bit. Tumrblr distracts and then I was a bit worried about my cat. I looked through notes for the upcoming scene. Finally I think I'm getting into it, had to have the planning down, got they out of the way then back to the story.

I'm almost done with this chapter I think, then I'll post soon hopefully.

I was intending to do a lot more in this chapter but it's getting long enough as it is, plus it does make sense to interrupt things, in a lull.

600 words today!

First time I wrote for several weeks. I had some events etc, I wasn't sleeping well (4,5 hours sometimes) and I was stuck at a point in the chapter. Not sure how to go forward. I went through my notes and reread the first part of the chapter several times. Then I figured out a path forward. I had gone thru notes and organized notes and by then it was like 1:00 (I had to take my niece to school this morning and also stopped at a market but other mind things also interrupted.. being a bit tired + caffeine...) but I wanted to at least get some writing in

Hopefully now no more roadblocks and I can charge forward to the climax.

Suddenly some NSA poeple might appear...(besides Tasha)
