(Personal-ish) Rant being GeN zZ-

After taking a shower, I've realized that the generational divide is so wide that your parents will never truly understand you.

Like, they don't understand internet addiction, and the need to stay on to prove a point, like, "Just put the damn thing down!" means they were never on electronics like we were. They aren't electronic-based and will never understand that you have a whole life made on there, a world with good and bad just like the real one. ( "Why can't you just be off that thing? There's nothing important to it." )

Some parents don't, and will never understand gender dimorphism and trans people, despite never trying to be closed minded about it, they just say the wrong stuff. ( "I don't get why you can't just be happy with yourself." )

They won't understand the reason why (I'm) we're scared of things, like mental hospitals, and schools, and certain things because we've been told completely different connotations behind it, and it's so bad.

Some parents don't respect boundaries because they've never had any, when others want and need them, and repeat bad mistakes in parenting that can't be talked back for "being disrespectful"

Like saying; "Oh this time I'll let you make a decision (that should be your choice)". (Example: Taking your door down, making you uncomfortable, forcing you to hug somebody, etc etc like threatening to take you to a mental hospital and saying it's not your choice, it's your parents and not preparing you for adulthood, and not letting you take your own steps and your own decisions.)

They will never understand that, and it hits so hard because we will never make it to our promise land without having twisted and warped thoughts like our parents unless we're "rebellious" and "disrespectful" and "disgraceful".

And this is why I will never become a parent.

Always with that our generation crap

Every generation sucks according to another, it's a never ending cycle of stupid people complaining about generations younger then them.  

Especially apparent in the older generation of old people, talking as if unicorns roamed the earth, as if it was a perfect time.  Yet, history speaks otherwise.

In terms of music however, that's probably another story....

This Generation

I see many issues with this up coming generation that the previous ones didn't have. First of all is social media. I have no problem with social media obviously because I'm on a few of them but the problem I do have with these kids that are on it who don't know how to properly use it. I mean come on now you're gonna post everything on the internet like it can't come back and bite you when you're applying for colleges or trying to get a job or if a family member sees it. The "I don't care" attitude eventually will wear off when you can't get a job or you embarrass your family to the point where they don't want to be associated with you. 

Second everyone wants to grow up so fast why? You only get one childhood so live it well don't try and go to college parties when your only in MIDDLE SCHOOL. Stick to pokemon, Dragon Ball Z, not to beer and weed. Like you still have a signature on your text and you expect people to treat you like an adult?? you still have baby teeth and you expect people to treat you as an adult??? Come on now you can't have kid things and stuff expect people to treat you as an adult.
