FLINT, MI – Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton has charged three Owosso residents with murder in the slaying of a man originally from California.
On Saturday, April 21st, a body was discovered in a farm field in Mundy Township with a vehicle bearing California license plates nearby. Police were called to the scene and found the deceased body of 28-year-old Austin Culkins of California with multiple stab wounds. An investigation led police to three suspects living in Shiawassee County and, based on probable cause evidence gathered from that investigation, Prosecutor Leyton issued a warrant against them.
Charged in the slaying of Austin Culkins are:
? Frederick Daniel Clark, 28-years-old
? Christian Lee Lover, 23-years-old
? Mataya Delores Shaw, 23-years-old
Each are charged with first degree premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder. Arraignment will be in 67th District Court.
