Genetic fitness and its importance.
Genetic fitness is the ability to successfully pass on your genes to your children. This is determined by an individual's genetic makeup, environmental conditions, and interactions with the environment. The genetic report enables you to determine your genetic fitness so that you can plan for your future health and well-being. Genetic fitness is a measure of an individual's survivability according to their genetic makeup. The genetic fitness of the parents can be used to predict their offspring's genetic fitness, or vice versa. Genetic fitness is the genetic variation within a population or between populations at a particular time. A person's genetic variations are inherited from their parents, who had those variations in their DNA. A statistical measure of "survival" for an organism (including humans) is the likelihood that it will reproduce and continue to exist into the next generation. Genetic nutrition refers to an individual's needs for certain nutritional elements such as proteins, vitamins, and minerals. Genetic fitness is the degree to which an individual's genetic potential is realised in a particular society. It represents how well your genes can survive and reproduce their qualities, thus enhancing their relative fitness over others. The environment and life experiences that an organism receives throughout its lifetime influence all other aspects of its phenotype (physical appearance).
