basically it’s really weird until he is sent a letter summoning him to the castle (wOAH MAN) and the businessman being a total bro is like “yeah man go ahead im not gonna like dis the king and stuff” so he goes to the castle and the king iSN’T THERE??? WOAH

actually, the king is very ill! but, because he is dying he needs an heir (you can probably see where im going with this) and none of his nephews will work because they’re all married off into other families, already royalty somewhere else, too old, etc. The ROYAL researchers with help of the ROYAL librarians and the ROYAL staff (everything is very royal) trace the family tree waaaay back, and suprise, mr. loser is actually a distant cousin like twice removed or something. (idk ill make the tree later) SUDDENLY A PRINCE SOON TO BE KING WOAH (i actually looked into this this is how alot of royalty works what?? the king only had 1 son and no daughters, but seven brothers, all of which who married. Loser’s father was the cousin of the 4ths brother’s wife, so they are technically related. Lots of weird stuff (actually based of my family my cousin’s twice removed are my favorite people seriously))

ANYWAY He is now in line to become king, so he sends a letter politely quitting his job as butler, but doesn’t tell him he is now a prince (the king swore him to secrecy until it is revealed to the public) so noble twins were like “what??” 

BUT fast forward like 6 months later, after alot of princely training! (which wasn’t alot because he had excellent manners as a butler) He is revealed as heir to the throne at a ball, which all of the nobles attended (and i do mean all, wink wink) BUT he is revealed with his fiance, because he has to be married to become a king (OH NO) so the ball progresses and the loser eventually meets with his favorite twin who is like “what the heckie dude” and basiCALLY

The fiance lady is super chill with them dating and stuff cuz she doesn’t want to be married either she’s actually dating one of the maids so everyone wins

yeah theres alot more than that but that’s the basics
