"Child At Heart"
There is something exciting about getting a package, the ability to open up a box and discover all the wonders that await inside. To be captivated by the mysteriousness and finally, upon opening the box, piecing together all the items and materials within. Why all of these feelings? Because it’s first and foremost your box, delivered specially to you, because someone in your life wanted you to experience something awesome.
When we were developing genius.box, we knew we were trying to do something amazing, something transformative. We wanted kids to get excited about receiving a box delivered just to them and then getting to open it, to revel in the excitement of the not-yet-known of all the activities and experiments within. Not only are these boxes going to foster kids’ innate curiosity and in turn passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) learning, they are also going to create a fun, hands-on experience. And we know that experiences matter. They create lasting impressions that lead to lasting passions.
So we want to make sure that all children get to experience that.
We understand that not all children grow up with the same resources, experiences, and opportunities. Not all schools have the resources to provide a “well-rounded” education. Not all parents can supplement or reinforce what their children are learning at school, at home. And most importantly, not enough children are being encouraged and driven towards the STEM fields.
The STEM fields lack diversity, both in race and gender, whether it’s lack of resources or lack of encouragement that deters STEM from being pursued in high school, college, or as a career. genius.box wants to change that. By picking our “Child At Heart” sponsorship, you are enabling kids in underserved communities to get BOTH of our pilot boxes: Kitchen Science and Circuits.
Maya Angelou once said, "When you learn, teach. When you get, give."
Now, help us empower and educate all children. Give them the genius.box experience this Giving Tuesday and beyond. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting genius.box and the curiosity of all children!
Yours in learning & giving,

It’s The Dawn Of A New Era
Us ladies here at genius.box have been curious about the world around us ever since childhood, whether it was digging around outside in the dirt, creating DIY experiments (i.e. chewing gum from scratch and it went horribly wrong), or our personal favorite: explosions in the backyard with Diet Coke and Mentos.
We were the explorers, adventurers, and learners. With the world at our fingertips, along with our friends, we were fueling our passions with a curiosity that we’ve been carrying with us ever since we were little.
Nowadays it’s all about engaging, interpreting, and reacting to the world through the use of technological gadgets. We miss the days of utilizing creativity and hands-on learning as a mechanism for understanding the world around us.
So we’ve decided to bring it back.
We want the next generation of kids to be excited and passionate and curious and hungry for knowledge. We want them to be confident and not discouraged when the learning gets tough, or dare we say it, uninspiring (read: boring). We want today’s kids to be analytical and creative in the ways they approach new challenges.
We want them to achieve the impossible.
We are sure “Team Genius” kids are going to blow us away with everything they are going to discover and what they will achieve, building upon what they already know while testing new ideas. And genius.box will be right by their side as the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians (and all minds really) utilize STEM education as a tool to think innovatively to tackle the challenges of tomorrow, today.
So come join us as we start a STEM revolution!
