Who is USC Halloween Shooting Victim Geno Hall?
Geno Hall was the victim of a shooting outside the recent "Freaks and Greeks" Halloween party held on the campus at the University of Southern California .
According to the Los Angeles Times (November 1, 2012), he is expected to "pull through" after suffering seven bullet wounds. He is described as a former Crenshaw High School football star and the winner of the 2009 L.A. City Football Player of the Year.
In the same article, Hall is described as follows:
"The younger Hall was working on an associate of arts degree and playing football at West Los Angeles community college, his father said. His goal was to transfer to a Division 1 university, possibly in Oregon, Hawaii or New Mexico, to play football.
"He's a quiet person," [father Eugene] Hall said. "All Geno do is come here [home] and go to school."
