The Doctor had put the TARDIS into gravity around a dying sun, charging the heart of the TARDIS a little, she seemed to like it even though she didn’t really need it. Plus, then he could to see something that only happened about once every hundred thousand years. Everything had been fine and dandy until all of a sudden the TARDIS let out a low, grumbling whine that soon got louder and more high-pitched, like something was crushing at her hull. The sound really grated at The Doctor’s nerves and he grit his teeth, covering his ears like a child would when they didn’t want to hear something that was being said.
“Ouch! That’s not very nice!” he complained with a sulky face, rushing up to the TARDIS console and dragging down the viewing screen. He couldn’t seen anything at first, just the darkness of space and the dying sun, boiling below them. He swiveled it around and then his eyes widened. What on Gallifrey?!! There in front of his eyes was a huge opening tear in the space, the black being torn wide a blue, green inner reaching out toward the TARDIS and then before he could do anything about it the TARDIS gave a great shudder before she was caught up in the green mist-like energy, and they were suddenly being dragged right toward the rift.
“Nononononoooooo,” The Doctor shouted out in a frantic manner, the male rushed around the console, trying to send the ship off away from the tear, but it was too late they were already being dragged right into it. Everything seemed to squish together for a few moments as they were dragged in, but then with a dizzying ride through they were finally dumped right back out, everything going silent other than the sound of the TARDIS engines. Pausing in what he was doing, The Doctor turned around on the spot, finding the silence to be extremely eerie and uncomfortable. Licking at his lips, he dragged the viewer back down again, seeing nothing at all familiar, even the stars themselves looked different.
Deciding that he couldn’t just sit here waiting for things to return to normal, The Doctor decided to take a look around in hopes that he would find somewhere safe to land so that he could figure out what to do next. After a while The Doctor noticed a large ship not too far off, and so he demateralized the TARDIS, rematerializing her on board, setting off some silent alarms without even realising it. Heading down the ramp to the TARDIS doors, The Doctor stepped out into what seemed to be the Bridge of the ship. She was magnificent!
“Oh you beauty!” he breathed out, turning around on the spot to get a good and proper look at the bridge of the ship, soon hurrying towards the first computer screen he could see, his sonic screwdriver being pulled out and aimed in front of him, wanting to know more about it.
