Before there was Captain America, before there was even a war, there were two idiots in Brooklyn, just getting by every day, living a life, trying very hard not to let it show that they had, as a matter of fact, fallen in love with each other.

This is the first part of what I plan to be a multi-part fic spanning the entirety of the MCU, following Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes on their journey with, away from, separate from, and back towards each other.

Part I is finished, will update regularly, will include a lot of self-indulgence and in-depth character building. It covers the years of their childhood and youth together, before the war caught up to the boys.

Soulmate AU that follows Steve and Bucky from childhood as they figure out the world, claim an identity, and learn to love each other.

“You want one?” Bucky offers, holding out the palmful of candy. Steve looks up, blinkin’ and lookin’ surprised. He’s got blue eyes like his momma — he looks a lot like her, with blue eyes and a pointy chin. Bucky looks mostly like his dad. He wonders where Steve’s dad is.

“Oh. Um, sure. Thanks.” Steve reaches out like he thinks maybe Bucky’s gonna bite him or somethin’. Steve’s skinny fingers brush the skin of Bucky’s hand and they both gasp.

Feelin’ rushes through Bucky, all hot and cold, and then warmth sinkin’ down into his bones, and he can feel his heartbeat in his mark, which is goin’ all purple lookin’. Bucky gets a little dizzy and he kinda wishes he could sit down, but all he can do is stand there and stare at Steve.

“But —” Bucky stutters. “You’re a boy!” Complete, posts twice a week.

I'd actually like to rec my own fics rn lol

I recently wrote two Stucky fics, they're technically a series, but can be enjoyed separately too

The first one, Practice Makes Perfect, is Stucky as teens in the 30s where Steve asks Bucky to show him how to kiss. The second one, Trial & Error, is Stucky in Wakanda and it's a BDSM fic with Sadist Bucky and Masochist Steve.

This is a really good getting together fic pre-serum and pre-war where Steve starts working as a queer sex worker secretly (sex work positive) and Bucky finds out and this sparks his own curiosity and queer awakening so to speak and then ofc course they end up fooling around…. (very NSFW fic!)
