Nanites work a lot like cancer cells. It's a mutation of the body itself. They can be benign, or they can be SUPER malignant.
Rex can play most any card game but he doesn't know how to play them correctly. Bobo Haha taught him to cheat only.
6 is Rex's legal guardian- can sign him into and out of hospitals, etc. Neither one of them like to discuss how he's legally Rex's dad.

UHHHHHHHHHH they dead. idk. when six said “i dont use guns,” its like they were shot batman-style! or they could just have abandoned him. but im gonna go with some form of dead.
aaaaand one found him on the streets scrounging for food and one was like, i could use a protogé! hahaha. nah but fans make one way too much like the wise old man, idk, one is a criminal and a killer. maybe he had a thing for taking in <15 year olds to train them in his ways so that one of them could take over one day
