Chance was often called a fool when he explained he tried to win the love of his beloved back.

they were corrupted! there was no possible way that they could actually remember him. that would take a miracle to happen!

but maybe miracles do happen.

Chance noticed how you'd be less aggressive towards him, that you'd freeze whenever you'd see him, like you remembered him. that was all the courage he needed.

one round, when you froze once more upon seeing him, he took that small window to approach you.

"hey, love, it's me. remember me? you'd always swoon when I call you that." he whispered, his voice soft as he took your hand and squeezed it. he watched your eyes—at least, the one that wasn't corrupted—for any signs of emotion.

"come on, darling, just a single nod or yes is all i need." he encouraged, squeezing your hand tighter. the other survivors watched him, they hadn't seen a killer react this way towards a survivor.

Chance paid them no attention, keeping his gaze locked on you, even behind his sunglasses. he waited a moment before he brought your hand up to his lips, and pressed a soft kiss.

when he looked up, he saw the spark in your eyes, the one he always remembered seeing whenever he showed acts of affection.

he missed that spark. and he'd do everything to see it more.

so he decided to win you over again, to make you fall in love with him once more. over time, he won your heart, made the real you come out of the corrupted shell the Spectere gave you.

and in return, he was starting to get his lover back. instead of killing him on sight during rounds, you snuck around and brought him flowers and gifts. sometimes, you even gave him a few kisses in secret.

and if Chance didn't say he loved it, he'd be lying. because, he finally found his long lost love.

Moment to Rest...

Forsaken!Survivors x Reader (platonic or romantic)

Each survivor spends their freetime a bit differently, and you're always welcome to join them.

Characters: Elliot, Taph, Chance, 007n7 Structure: Bullet-points with a small scenario Words: ~1.5k

Elliot-

Elliot was known to be a hard worker before Forsaken, and it's no different here. After he's taken a moment to recover, let his mind calm down after a round, Elliot goes straight to chores.

For Elliot, keeping himself busy is a constant that helps keep him grounded. He was always busy when working at Builder Bothers' Pizza, so it's just more comfortable for him to keep that same agenda.

The others tell him to take breaks but Elliot gets all fidgety if he sits still doing nothing.

So, as his friend, you take it upon yourself to lessen the burden! You help Elliot with chores while keeping him company. From making small talk about Noob's recent raid of the kitchen, or long stories about a childhood memory, Elliot loves talking with you!

Being honest, you're not a huge help when it comes to the chores themselves. You're technically distracting Elliot, who probably would've had this whole room sparkling if it wasn't for your chatter, but Elliot wouldn't have it any other way.

Random Scenario:

Keeping the shelves stocked was both an easy and difficult thing. Sometimes the Spector would spawn in certain foods, other times you'd have to find it yourself. A part of the group chores was to collect any edible food from the forest and bring them back!

Was that your job? Nope. It was Elliot's, but nonetheless you decide to come along for the journey anyways. The two of you walk down the path holding multiple worn-out baskets, collecting any fruit or other edible foods you could find.

Although the walk takes a lot longer than intended. Neither of you notice how slow the pace had become, not when Elliot is telling you about the time Shedletsky got scolded when he almost lit everyone's clothes on fire while doing laundry.

Taph-

After a round, you have to go on a bit of a search to find Taph. They're so quiet, they tend to just slip away after being brought back to the cabin.

It's hard to get a read on Taph, but you figure they need some time by themselves too.

They might look scary with a hood but Taph is surprisingly friendly. Although you may or may not instantly think that when you find them in some random corner drawing maps of the survivor cabins.

Often times, outside of rounds, Taph is assisting the Admins in any shape or form. However they don't often explain what exactly they're doing, so it looks a bit suspicious. Once Guest had stumbled upon Taph tripwiring ALL the survivor cabins.

When you first come to Taph, you end up wanting to learn sign language to communicate better. So often times you'll have mini lessons between rounds taught by Taph. Eventually you will be able to communicate with Taph better than the others, allowing Taph to voice their opinions and thoughts more easily. Definitely not using the fact that you two have an exclusive way of communication in a bad way.

The others can only really understand basic to intermediate sign language. So make the best of your abilities!

Random Scenario:

Taph had given you a couple of Sign Language lessons between rounds, now it was time to put you to the test! You feel a bit nervous but ready! Afterall, being able to communicate with a teammate was important, both during and outside of rounds.

Taph leads you to the Main Cabin, they were giving you simple directions and tasks, seeing if you understood their requests. There were a few signs you remember but able to use context clues to figure it out.

Taph has you take out a metal bowl, eggs, flour, and other ingredients... and you quickly realize that maybe you've taken this test too seriously after figuring out that Taph was giving you a step-by-step guide on how to make brownies. You stand unamused while Taph sits at the table with a warm tray of brownies and a fork.

Chance-

After a round, Chance simply crashes on the sofa. He keeps his normal smile and sits back, flipping that coin in his left hand.

Maybe Chance just has a really good poker face, but you hardly ever see them without a grin. Only in the presence of a killer does their smile drop, even then it's only when they get hit or about to die.

Chance is one of the most active in the cabin. He's always trying to do something with everyone, even if the others aren't feeling up to it. A group card game, maybe DDR with machine upstairs, truth or dare, he'll be down for anything at this point. Eventually, he'll create games for everyone, and they're either incredibly fun or horribly stupid.

He tries his best to at least be familiar with everyone, and that includes you! It's not uncommon that Chance pulls you over for a game, especially if you look bored and in need of some company.

Of course, that's not all Chance does. Every now and then he'll play the piano. Is he good at it? Well, the Spector placed that piano for a reason. At least Chance can play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with his eyes closed.

You don't think you've seen this guy take anything seriously.

But hey! Chance definitely is able to bring up the mood whenever things get a bit depressing around here.

You find yourself chatting with them as well, they're pretty easy to talk to, often making jokes or small quips. But if you're not feeling it, Chance knows when to tune it down.

Random Scenario:

Chance thinks he's a genius. At least that's what he said when suggesting this game to you. Playing cards was getting a bit stale, after the 50th game of Old Maid, it gets boring. Well at least for Chance. You're still wondering how you've manage to lose 43 games.

Anyways, the two of you were in the kitchen. In Chance's words, it was the perfect time to strike since Elliot wasn't here. Though, you doubt that ball of sunshine would get mad at whatever Chance had in mind.

In front of you were four slices of pizza. Actually it was one slice cut into four, but that's besides the point. Chance had come up with the brilliant idea to spike these pieces with hot sauce. The two of you play rock-paper-scissors and whoever lost would have to eat a slice.

You've never won so many games of rock-paper-scissors in your life. Whatever luck Chance had during Old Maid, it had abandoned him here. Best part is that he's the one who suggested this stupid game.

007n7-

Whenever 007n7 looks back at his past self, he thinks he's changed a fair amount. However one thing that didn't change was the fact he was a bit of a shut in. If he wasn't out exploiting, he was in his home entertaining himself with endless amounts of unhealthy media. And while the entertainment is no longer there, it doesn't change the fact he's still tends to keep to his own cabin.

So good luck meeting with him outside of rounds. Just kidding.

007n7 doesn't often spend his time near the main cabin, but you can find him near the dock or by the campfire. Often times he's fidgeting with his GUI or simply doing whatever keeps him entertained.

When you first came along and tried to talk to him, he seemed out of his element. A bit awkward and weird, but nothing too crazy. 007n7 is a bit on the older side now, he's too tired to be that arrogant snotty guy he used to be. But because of that, his polite manner can come off as fake or overdone at times.

After some time, 007n7 drops the formalities to a degree. You're his buddy now, and he can't be more grateful to have company. Often times the two of you sit by the docks or his cabin to just lounge around. Maybe you two chat, maybe you just lay there, but 007n7 is happy to have a buddy within this realm.

007n7 doesn't like coming off as vulnerable, but sometimes you can see him spaced out and holding onto folded up papers in his hands. Just worn out printer paper with crayon scribbles.

Random Scenario:

Daytime wasn't a thing here in this realm. The sun never came up, so the sky was always dark and grim. However 007n7 seemed to enjoy sitting by the dock and staring up at the moon and it's little stars. You were there too, sitting with your legs hanging off the ledge.

The two of you simply sat. Neither of you had anything to talk about, so you simply didn't. Eventually however, 007n7 lets out a small chuckle. You look over, wondering what he found so humorous.

007n7 explains a memory that popped into his head. An old one when he was by a lake with coolkidd and he was teaching the boy how to skip rocks. The memory ends with coolkidd accidently falling right into the water, and while at the time it wasn't funny, 007n7 laughs at the memory now.

Eventually, after you asked, 007n7 skips a stone across the lake. He's surprisingly good at it, like you genuinely realize that there's levels to skipping rocks.

007n7 offers to teach you and you take on the challenge. While you don't reach 007n7's skill, you still manage to get the rock to skip once or twice.

a/n: I started on two different things but ended up making this little thing instead. Huh. I was going to add Shedletsky and Noob, but I felt like this was entire for one night.

Anyways, Two Time Alphabet is most likely coming out next? Maybe. It's long and a bit ranty, so it's probably not going to be for most people. I'll try not to make each letter too long.
