My mantra for the week, maybe the month, maybe my life. My friend @ydnew42 keeps telling it to me and I think I’m finally hearing her. . . . “People show you who they are with their actions.” . . . This goes for me too. A lot of people in my life that I’m using (wasting) time on have shown me over and over again who they are to me, and I make excuses for them. I’m not making excuses for them anymore. . . . It was nice however to hear that I am however, showing people who I am, who I desire to be. I hope I’m consistent, reliable, a friend, a good teammate, funny, contributing, caring...etc. so swipe left, and this isn’t for you, it’s for me. A reminder, not that I’m perfect, because I’m far from, ask those closest to me, but it was nice to get a card letting me know that at least of one day I followed through with my actions. And by the way, it was refreshing to get a hand written card. Another example of someone showing who they are with their actions. Genuine appreciation is rare. And rarely shown in this way. Actions people!
