       Just then, another note practically flew right into his face a second time now and for a moment Percy thought it would slice his nose off, but thank the gods it didn’t. “What now—why can’t you just send water messages, ugh.”

       He irritatedly rolls his eyes and unfolds the paper, though what he manages to read despite his dyslexia, his heart sinks. “….”

             "Ugh, dude, you’re so uncool.” Nevertheless, his heart did soften, and he slid down against the wall in some sort of odd, and unexpected relief.

A note tacked to the front of Percy's cabin door. "Dropped off your shit. Don't want to see you in the palace until you've damn well apologized."

     He ripped the paper to shreds, taking out his anger on it like he was wrestling a squirrel who wanted to pinch his eyes out.

        "Give me a Double Mac cheese burger with lettuce topping, chilli sauce, garlic bread, a hunk of fries and I think you passed the good dad test." Like father, like son.

   "Dude, seriously. I'm thinking you should start reading the article of '12 ways to be a good dad!' on the internet or something."
