hello!!! im pretty new to thai bls and found out about them with the Not me series (🖤). which led me to find Why R U? (on ep 12) and also currently watching the cutie pie series and obviously became a fan of Zee 😭 so i was just wondering was there any recommendations that are an absolute must watch? and just general information about the community and just the BLs in general? im just so in awe here and i just want to know basically everything like the do’s and don’ts lol. i hope this all made sense and thank you for your time 😊✨

First Off I am so flattered that you think that I am knowledgeable enough to answer these questions. Second off welcome!! As for the absolute must watch I would recommend checking out

-Theory of Love: which stars offgun from not me,

-Until We Meet Again: this one comes with a suicide warning

-Together With Me

-Dark Blue Kiss: This is a spinoff series from the dramas kiss and kiss me again in which the main couple from DBK were a side couple in them, Now I don’t really think you need to watch kiss and kiss me again to fully understand the story of DBK because that's what everyone told me so personally I didn’t watch them and I don’t really think I missed out on much but you can if you want to, you know it’s up to you, kiss and kiss me again shows the origin of them and DBK is the continuation also if you like Dan from not me, the actor who plays him is also in this as part of a side couple pairing

- I told Sunset about you and I Promised you the Moon: these Series go together I told Sunset about you is first and I promise you the Moon is the continuation of the story

-Tale of 1000 stars

-Bad Buddy: Now for bad buddy I do recommend watching this one alot but I recommend watching some other bls before you go to this one because This ones pretty new it just came out not too long ago and it really flips the whole way of doing BLs on it’s head and I think if you watched it too early on in your bl watching Journey I think it will honestly set your expectations too high and make everything you watch after it kind of “disappointing” I just think you need a baseline of what bls are normally like before going to the exception that is bad buddy I mean hopefully we get more shows that are more like bad buddy in the future but like in my opinion at least its like the rarity so I just recommend watching a good handful of different series before jumping on this one but it’s really good and I highly highly recommend it but ultimately it’s up to you

Also You mentioned you liked Why R U and I think if you like Why R U I think you’ll also like

-Gen Y: which is a wild ride just a warning and it also has a sequel but the first is better you can watch the second one but it’s just not going to be as good as the first

-My Engineer: which is one of my many favorites

-2moons2: Now this one is a “sequel” to 2moons but no it’s not it’s more of a remake of 2moons because 2moons2 is just literally the same story from 2moons just redone with mostly different actors and in my opinion redone better you really really really don’t need to watch 2moons in order to watch 2moons2 you will just be watching the same thing over and over again I promise you won’t be missing out on anything

Now I stuck with Thai because you said Thai but let me know if you do you wanna venture out of thai because I do have recommendations for some non-Thai BLs, also more Thai stuff too

As for the dos and donts I’m not super versed on the community “rules” I mean I guess I know like the general stuff from being in the community but I don’t think I know enough to really speak on it too much I mean I guess the obvious one that comes to mind is like respect the actors and their private lives you know just as a rule be generally respectful I think @absolutebl is a good person to ask for any do and donts if there are any and maybe correct me if I said anything wrong or missed anything lol they are also just like genuinely a good person to ask on all the stuff for a new person coming into the world of bl, they’re super knowledgeable on so much including Thai language stuff too, also another blog I would recommend is @heretherebedork are also a great person to ask questions to and to follow of course
