A mother’s love

Remember when Joon-gi shared a big secret of their organization to Ichiban and even emphasized it as a "gift"? Then we found out that the gift he was pertaining to was actually the secret passage of Geomijul's base that is located inside Eomeoni's Vow. This piece of information is a big deal for the organization not that it's because it's another entrance but it's also a place where it housed the other members of their gang as well as just Korean civilians.

Since the Geomijul is rooted in the Jingweon mafia, the stray members had no place to call home. Like Joon-gi, they also had a hard time integrating into normal society and were shunned by their own people until they found a community that accepted them in a small part of Ijincho.

Eomeoni's Vow translates to “A Mother's Vow”. A small restaurant that is located in Koreatown that offers authentic Korean cuisine. The thing that is protecting these drifters from outside forces is the love of a mother. A person we considered the backbone of the family that emotionally supported their children as they grew up. The person who sacrificed, gave birth and protected our infantile years till we can truly stand up on our own. A place that first gave us the taste of home.

To the stray members of Jingweon mafia, now known as the Geomijul, the only place where they could reminiscence the flavors of their home is in this tiny restaurant. That even their own children who had yet to set foot on their own country could appreciate the taste of their forgotten homeland. No wonder they placed the entrace to their hideout in such a place.

I may be over analyzing this but this small level of details is really amazing.
