Night Games (Nattlek), Mai Zetterling (1966)
I don't really have words
may his memory be a blessing
Ah, #AstridLindgren, what a genius she was! Her books so daring and full of humour, with a perspective straightout of a child's heart. Funny, sometimes outrageous, and always unafraid of the storms of life. And not just her books, but her songs for #Pippi and the others are incredible! Whimsical and clever, joyous and profound at the same time. A treasure in #Swedish. I wish her songs were translated into a hundred languages as her books are. But alas... Anyway, this tune is called #KalleTeodor, a mystical song remembering a sailor lost at sea (she never did shy away from the darkness of life). Music composed by marvellous #GeorgRiedel. Enjoy!
