In 1961 Jasper Johns had his first show in Europe, at Galerie Rive Droite in Paris, which was advertised with this poster/flyer made by rephotographing an edition of 0-9, a 1960 lithograph, signature and edition number included.
While in Paris Johns made Entr'Acte, a painting used to mark intermission for the performance art event he and some other artists staged at the US embassy on June 20, 1961.
