I bet anything that Reiju, even though telling Sanji that someday he'd find kind people out on the vast ocean when helping him get away from Germa, didn't fully believe what she told him. This is someone who knows that life is not fair. She didn't know what would happen when Sanji left, and that there was a good chance that life could be even more cruel to him outside of Germa. So even though throughout the years she was hopeful that Sanji found his kind people and a better life, there would always be this nagging 'what if', what if she got him out of the frying pan only to toss him into the fire.

So, imagine Reiju's bone depth relief when seeing Sanji's bounty poster for the first time and finally knowing that Sanji was alive and well and that she didn't send him away to something worse. (And then burning curiosity about how Sanji ended up as a pirate lol).

I think about this a lot and I wish could articulate it better. 😅
