At least eight people have been killed and five injured in two shootings late on Wednesday in the German city of Hanau, police have said. The attacker opened fire in a shisha bar in the city centre at about 10pm local time (9pm GMT). They then drove to another bar and carried out a second shooting. Three people were killed in the first attack and five in the second, while five other people have been injured.
