Gerome always seemed so hard to approach. He didn't talk much, not even to his parents and Stahl felt the young man would prefer being alone over talking to others. Naturally, each their own and Stahl was the last one to push his own comfort zones onto others, yet he his guts told him this wasn't all there was to his behavior.
So, finally granted with a chance to speak to him, the cavalier asked what had been on his mind for a while now: "Say, Gerome, isn't it hard to see with this mask? I understand it makes you look very mysterious, but I can imagine it being a bother at times."
