A flicker against the red earth, against the blue of the sky said to be created by a Goddess divine. Moonlight-coloured locks settle easily against soft fabric, contrasting the brilliance of ruby red gemstones that sit across from a thin, slender nose. How interesting that people could actually make a living out of a place so scarcely populated. To have the courage to venture out on their own and create a life after the turmoil that rocked the earth.
Slender fingers tugged the ornate hood of azure further over the mage's features, his footsteps carrying him closer and closer to the drawbridge that would lead him into the marketplace. As he understood, this town was recovering from a time gone by. A time that was forgotten by those whom had not been involved-- as if time had simply erased itself and began anew.
Yet his eyes caught sight of a young woman, lithe in build, and he paused in his trek inward to observe. The outlandish style of her clothing was certainly something to note, though perhaps more noteworthy was the absurd shade of red that sat so oddly atop her head. He cared little if she caught him staring, eyes narrowed from beneath the shadow of his veil.
