Germany vs Chile is just kicking off.

Testament to how talented Germany is when they play that sloppy and are still up 2-0

Absolutely (although the second goal was a little lucky)! Chile are playing well but Germany really ought to be further ahead.

It seems that on their day Chile can really frustrate teams. They drew 1-1 with Scotland but were then destroyed by the Netherlands 7-0 not long after.

Germany should go far in the World Cup though - they have a very talented team.

Well, certainly not as convincing a victory as possibly expected for Germany - they had a lot more possession but between a lack of clinical finishing and Endler being excellent in goal it's finished 2-0.

Obviously with 6 subs in the second half the momentum and chemistry shifts but they'll have to play better against the higher ranked teams.

Endler has been brilliant - there was nothing she could do about the second goal and not much really she could do with the first but she really kept Chile in it. Glad that her injury in the first half seemed to be OK.
