About "Bad Blood": that's what I was thinking - what makes yesterday's festival gig different from all the other festival gigs that have yet to come in the festival season? Mmm. Obviously we don't know anything for sure, but back when they mentioned the album would probably be out in September, they hadn't started recording quite so much yet, right, so who knows what the plan is!! Very exciting, that's for sure ;)

I think if their next festival is in June. That would give them time to release a single and announce an album release date for September. And the songs they play during this festival season might consist of the second half of ‘All This Bad Blood’ as well as maybe Campus, No Angels, and Pompeii? I can’t wait to see what they do, I’m so excited!!

Oh for sure, completely agree with that! While I get why people are making a big deal about for example the hair thing (seeing as that's such a big part of their image, whether he likes it or not), at the end of the day it's still up to him. And when he goes ahead with it (which he will, I think), it won't change anything, because we're all in it for the music first anyway (or so I thought...). And personally, I'd be pissed off if they made an exact copy of Bad Blood. In music, change is GOOD.

i have a different opinion with the hair thing but that's neither here nor there. i do agree with you entirely that we're here for music and that's it. that's all they owe us. that's all anyone should expect. and you're so right if there was another reincarnation of bad blood that wouldn't be special to me; producing albums is about witnessing growth and change as a group and for them to churn out another icarus, as much as i love that song, wouldn't do anyone the justice they deserve

Can I just say that I love that little text post you did on the departure of Bad Blood? I feel like Bastille, and Dan in particular, have received so much criticism lately (for various reasons, not even just the music) and I just don't know what people were expecting of VS in the first place. I mean, we've all heard OPH1 and OPH2, they are in no way an indication of Bad Blood, same way VS isn't for album #2, so why the surprise?

and i think i know some of the stuff you're referring to with the "various reasons" and it's completely unnecessary considering at the end of the day the music is the only thing that matters we have no impact on the decisions they make as people and what they choose to do has absolutely no impact on us we are not their close personal friends so their close personal lives should not even be a topic of interest or discussion 

but hey that's just my two cents

okay let's give this a try

1. I have the best taste in music and films and shows for all I know and if we share interest in things I instantly like you 80% more than anyone else.

2. As for physical appearence I quite like my lips and teeths and hair texture (these are so random but yeah)

3. I like the fact that I like pretty much all types of food so if I'm eating dinner at someone's house I never disappoint the cook and eat everything (is that even a quality idk lol) (but yeah in a subtle way I like to make people happy about themselves)

4. I quite like my handwriting even though everyone says it looks like this "oollooolloooodbooddoob" (like it's very round??)

5. I like that I can speak 4 languages and not many people knows it, so I enjoy overhearing other people's conversations when they think I don't understand, if that makes sense. (not in a creepy way tho lol)
