Caught up, yay! My yarn came 3 days early, thanks JoAnn's or USPS! (Don't know who was responsible, so I'll give both kudos!) Week 1's temperatures were 1.2° low average, and 12.1° high average. I was glad I did a test swatch, to get the leading edge to lay flat I had to go up a hook size AND crochet very loosely (for me). I used stitch markers because I hate recounting, and with crochet, I tend to lose stitches easily, and without any idea of how I've lost them. With the shells established, I think I can forego them now, but will leave them for a little while longer, just in case.
