Who can resist a product that instructs you to Get Fruity ? 😂😂 it's a great name for a great snack! I entered a competition for a Great British Bake off cookery book and a case of Get Fruity bars .. I've been dying to try these and get the kids into a healthier way od eating and have flirted with Bear Nibbles,,Naked bars and a variety of muesli,bars and they have all had one bite and then ended up in the bin, So I'd sort of given up on finish a healthy Compromise until these little beauties landed on the doorstep ! We read the ingredients carefully and so far so good ! Gluten free oats, virgin coconut oil, nothing artificial added, part of your five a day and vegan friendly . The only sugars in the bars are from the fruit, so the big test.. What do they taste like ? well I attacked the scrumptious strawberry and it was like a verbal explosion of fireworks had gone off in my mouth - lots of different zingy and juicy tastes exploding on my tastebuds ! Absolutely divine! the coconut oil keeps the bar deliciously moist not chewy and it is remarkably filling . Hope my 11 year old escaped with a moist mixed berry one and came back saying it was perfect and could she take another into school for snack tomorrow ? And hubby sloped off into the lounge munching on the apricot orange and ginger and pronounced it really nice - and this is coming from a man who is like Victor Meldrews grumpier brother !
