This is Amber smashing out some 7kg slam balls at the weekend. What she lacks in form she makes up in laughter and enthusiasm and we welcome that. We will work on her form but try and keep that joy. What we are aiming for is a lovely deep squat to reach and scoop up the slam ball, roll it up in towards the chest with elbows tucked under and then a good thrust with the hips before slamming the ball into the floor. It’s a really dynamic move and will be great alongside her football training.
