ooooh okay let’s split this one between canon and modern. so, for canon, I don’t think I could narrow it down to solely one favourite activity, but one that particularly stands out is how much he enjoys swimming and hanging out by the beach. occasionally the Pearl will dock at a deserted island in order to restock and give the crew some leave for a few hours, and ( this is actually established in canon ), Jack often likes to give himself a few hours of leave himself and will venture off to a more secluded part of the beach to swim and relax by the shoreline. in verses where this applies, he will definitely invite any partner of his to join him and will even bring a picnic along too ( this goes back to an early tradition between him and Esmeralda during their courting days ). Jack doesn’t have much in the way of downtime in his life so this is definitely quite an important tradition for him ( and it’s more social than his other downtime activity, reading in his cabin lmao )
as for modern, this is actually a really good question. as much as Jack likes excitement and a little bit of danger, I think the activities he enjoys most when with a romantic partner are the more quiet stuff? anything where he gets to spend time with his partner and share their common ( or not ) interests – like with canon, Jack will try and involve his partner in the sorts of things he enjoys in life, such as music festivals or travelling or getting dragged into the exciting life of a con artist lmao. likewise, he’d be eager to do the same in return as it’s a good chance for him to learn about his partner and their interests, and given how curious and open to trying new things he is, I doubt Jack would ever really be put off by what his s/o is interested in lmfao
