The Final Stretch
Only a couple of days left until the big day. To say that Mixxa wasn't fretting over finishing every last preparation was a bit of an understatement. She was excited, yes. But she was also nervous. Those nerves came about because while she knew that she could never embarass or disappoint her soon to be wife, she wanted to ensure what she said on that day would not cause others to cringe.
Retooling her vows was a secondary thought though as today, she had to finish up what needed to be completed. There was the matter of getting her wedding dress, an unorthodox green piece with teal trim. There was also a special ring to procure from one of the local jewelers in Rata Sum. That piece wasn't exactly fancy, but the important aspect was it would be meaningful and signify her love to the one that mattered most. Then, off to the Shiverpeaks to arrange for the lodge to stay at for the honeymoon. All of this, and then back to the Priory for her temporary duties.
One salvation from all of this was that Thursday tea would provide a chance to rest and recharge for the final push. And if her fiancee could afford to make it there, all the better. But if not, the last task could be handled solo. All that mattered was finishing up everything to allow for that special day to truly be memorable.
