Obligatory luggage shot - this year I have outdone myself and managed to only pack 9.6kg in the rucksack and around 5kg in the backpack. I am now ensconced in the airport with a large glass of wine and food on the way. My travelling persona has started to emerge as I’ve already chatted with all the airline staff here and met someone I know in departures! I’m feeling a bit anxious but I like the adrenaline as it gets me where I need to be to make all my connections.
