How mental blocks did you overcome?
I overcome mental blocks by praying, listening to music, coloring in a zen book, watching funny videos, getting a reading by a physic, (yes I am a born again Christian) but I have physic blood and you can't really read yourself to see what messages you need to hear to get out of your funk. I am not saying it works for everyone, and I don't do this all the time, just when I am in a deep, deep funk and can't get out.
I go near water, I have a conversation with God. I ask God questions- I write in the sand. I usually completely zone out at a beach/ near water.
I talk to other friends and get feedback, (only certain friends) I have realized only certain friends can handle me when I am in a funk.
I sleep it off, I draw it out... literally my most creative time to draw.
I also taught myself how to write with my other hand, and do “Left-hand writing activities“
And it is cathartic to cry sometimes you just have to let it out.
People call these "coping skills" I call these life skills for making sure you are ok with your inner self.
Mental Blocks cause other blocks, writing blocks, stress.. you don't want to talk to friends/family. You don't want to write/ go to appts. You don't want to go to work, or even just be a part of society....
