I'd be reminded. May is Mental (Emotional, Behavioral) awareness month. Can we take a moment and miss on Whitney, and the Verzuz Whit Whit v. MC "battle" we'll never see? End the stigma. Humankind in general has been through a LOT. We have survived a LOT. Sooo many of the PRIVILEGES we, generally speaking, enjoy, are off the backs of blood, sweat, tears, suffering. No, try to fight like hell the pain CONSUMING you, but, take the time, effort, energy you actually need to HEAL YOURSELF. Work that can be greatly assisted, but only one really, truly can do for themselves. The man or woman in the mirror. Your closet skeletons. Your demons. Your resentments, woes, ignorance, etc. OWN YOUR WELLNESS. Of course no heinous mess (s/o to Law and Order, lol) but do what you have to, otherwise, to get well. Oftentimes whatever shape or form it actually takes, it will require a getting away from the Norms. A challenge. Dont run from it. Take it head on by the horns (Taurus on mines 😉) and take a commanding role in your wellness.
