"i’m going to go ahead and cut you off right there, because i don’t give a shit."
Ed goes to protest but somehow logic wins out and his mouth snaps shut. They weren’t kidding about Professor Armstrong. He’s heard rumors and, for once, Ed has learned to rely on college gossip. Frat boys, rarely, know things.
Any other day he’d have a good excuse. Any other day he could justify being late with his job running late, or visiting Al, or getting blood work done, or whatever – but this time he’d simply woken up hungover. His head still hurts.
“I know you don’t put your notes online, but…please consider emailing them to me? I really want to do well on the midterm.” Will plaintive begging work? Somehow, Ed isn’t so sure. He pulls the prosthetic card, flesh hand going to push up the sleeve resting above the silver-hued arm. That usually works to elicit sympathy from professors. please work.
