how do u make the gif and add the text over? i’m so horrible at graphics 🥲
𖹭 TEXT OVER GIFS
🍓 hi >< i hope this tutorial is helpful enough, and that i’m able to make this understandable TT it’s simple really, you’re not horrible at gfx, trust me!
𖹭 APPS USED : dafonts ( for fonts ) or phonto, any gif maker app
one. to make the font / text before hand, you can follow my tutorial over here. but instead of choosing a thin vertical canvas, we need to choose a square canvas.
two. after you’re done with the text beforehand, you need to download the video of your choice and convert it to a gif. any gif maker app if fine, i use this app.
three. from there there will be an option called ‘decoration’ click on it and choose the option to add another picture. then select the text picture from your gallery.
four. adjust the picture however you like on the gif and then press the ‘tick’ button on the top right.
five. again adjust the quality, format and stuff for the gif however you like and press ‘ok’
𖹭 END RESULTS
🍓 aaand the tutorial is done >< hope everything is clear now :3
Sru ove how do you make that divider in your pinned post?
𖹭 TYPOGRAPHY DIVIDER TUTORIAL
this is by far the most requested tutorial, i accidentally deleted a 4th ask abt this TT sorry for the delay, but i hope this will be helpful for you all ^^
𖹭 APPS & WEBSITES USED : ibispaint x, dafonts
𖹭 STEPS
STEP O1: open ibispaint x. there should be three options upon just opening it, select the option ‘ my gallery ’
STEP 02: there should be a plus sign on top of your screen now, click on it.
STEP 03: now, there should be an option to choose the dimensions of your choice for you canvas. for this divider, i used dimensions: ‘ 1700 x 210 ’ but you can experiment around take different dimensions!
STEP 04: then click the ‘ ok ’ button in black, beside the dimensions.
STEP 05: after the above step, your canva should be infront of you. click on your canvas and there should be a sidebar of various options and tools on your left.
STEP 06: click on the ‘ text ’ option, and then click on the ‘ font ’ option just beside the text box which should pop up
STEP 07: after clicking on fonts, the page should be divided into two— all & favourites. ‘ favourites ’ is for your custom/downloaded fonts!
STEP 08: now to have fancy fonts like mine ( for example, the font i used for the divider in my pinned!) click on the plus sign beside favourites, and it should lead you to the dafonts website, and you can download your own desired fonts from there!
𖹭 FONT USED FOR THIS DIVIDER(& pinned): aston script
STEP 09: now download ( or not ) your wanted fonts and type out whatever you need to in the text box
STEP 10: there should be size, style and all other options for your text and you can colourize and size and stuff according to your liking from those options!
STEP 11: click on the green tick mark when your done with your text
STEP 12: on the very right bottom, there should be an arrow, click on it and then click save image.
STEP 13: now to avoid the white background problem & doing an extra step of removing it, you must enable the transparent option and save it in PNG and NOT in JPEG !!
STEP 14: click ok aaaand we're done ^^
𖹭 THE END RESULTS

hii could you please give tips on how to find fonts for your fic banner + the the font you have in your tags and navigation page. i also want to know how to find aesthetic pictures like you find them. i also want to know what are the best times to post on tumblr, and i also want to know how do you over come writer's block and get ideas fpr your fics/headcanons. sorry if i am being a bother and sorry for asking too much. pls do ignore me if you dont have time. i am sorry
this is so late i never saw this hello i'm so sorry nonnie TT but i hope the following can be helpful for you ^^ and don't ever be sorry bae im always happy to help, mwah ^^
𖹭 FONTS
for fonts for my fic banners/ header theme banners i use the website dafonts to get them! although it's included on the app i use to edit my banners— ibispaint x i don't use canva as such but whenever i do i search for 'canva fonts' in pinterest to choose fonts in canva !!
and for the fonts on my tags and navi i use the website yaytext >< they have really good fonts to pick from!
𖹭 FINDING AESTHETIC PICTURES
pinterest is your bestie in this one. if u need to know, it's a free app which is just pictures and cuteness >< but keywords really do matter, i usually search " ( genre/colour im looking for ) + aesthetic " for example: " beige aesthetic "
tumblr can also be a good option! u can follow moodboard accs, and get inspiration from them ^^
𖹭 GETTING OVER WRITERS BLOCK
i listen to new songs and discover different artists as music plays a huge role in my writing process & finding prompts/plots ^^ i also write small essays or poems to overcome writers block and get back in the flow. but remember: don't ever pressurize yourself & find the right track to go on <3
𖹭 INSPO FOR FICS
just as i stated in the above point, music! a huge huge role played by music in my writings + different pictures, inspos from daily life, cute moments, etc ^^
hihihi >///< i luuvv your themes smm, could i ask how you find those theme magazine text type of images ? ( ex. )
hello! thank u sm im so glad u liked them :3
as for these kind of magazine text aesthetics— you can simply go to pinterest and type in ‘magazine text design’ and scroll and surf until you find your desired picture! or, you can download the picture you see anywhere that you want, and go to pinterest and click on the camera icon and search by the pictures!
hiii! if ur able, it doesn't have to be a tutorial, but i'd love to know how u made ur gfx! but most of all, what app(s) do u use for it? ^^
one of the most asked questions here, im gonna answer all in one so i hope all of you see it ^^ !
apps i use
ibis paint x mostly for literally everything ( layering, colouring, texts, basic editing and all ) canva sometimes for splitting the picture in halves, polarr when i go for extra colourings! although its no longer free so i don't really use so often anymore
pngs
i remove my backgrounds from background remover ( web site ) and i get all the png templates and elements from pinterest!
how i make gfx
honestly, i just mess around with stuff TT i look for inspos, gather my elements, pngs, and base pictures with overlays and go crazy until i like the results. sometimes i have a vision in mind, sometimes i don't, but that's okay! its all about enjoying the process ><
hope that helped all of you ! 🫶🏽 i have a lot of resources and inspos on my pinterest, so tell me if you guys want it ^^
i think theme ate. how did you make the graphics if you don’t mind sharing
🍒 hie baby, i know this is about my previous theme TT well i wanted to give you a video tut but something went wrong with my tab and all of my drafts are now gone TT including the ones i planned for future themes .. so im just gonna give you basic steps i follow while editing !
𖹭 HOW TO ACHIEVE GFX LIKE MINE
choose a specific photoshoot : whenever im planning my themes, i always make sure to use a whole set of pictures from the same photoshoot with brands / concept / album photoshoots. it makes the theme look more corporated, professional and nice !
look for inspos : i literally scroll on pinterest for so long to find ideas when my brain is fried ! i highly recommend searching for good inspirations— either themes, edits, etc, if you are stuck.
select a certain theme and stick to it : whether it comes to making themes, headers or simply editing something— you need to have a vision in your brain ! select an aim that you’re heading for and how you want your edit / theme to look and try not to meddle with jt ! if you’re not on the right tracks your edit or theme may look overwhelming and out of place
for eg. if you decide to make a theme / edit a picture with a ‘cybercore’ aesthetic, try to find pngs, fonts, pictures, etc. of the same aesthetic!
try out different styles : don’t just stick to one style of editing, and try to discover more !
𖹭 apps i use to edit : ibis paint x, picsart, phonto ( dont use that often, but is recommended ! ), any gif app for gifs
i have an important question what do u search up for your themes? like what do u search in pinterest ?
hello, anon ! i usually search up ‘colour/aesthetic’ + ‘core/aesthetic’ on pinterest, then click on to the picture i like the most and scroll down until i see my favoured picture ! hope this helped 💌
