She isn't like the character, which I usually write. She never submits to the soft and conflict-averse style that usually makes my writing what it is.
She isn't a good person. She wants to survive, she wants to keep in control, and to travel the sea. To her it isn't about helping out others, doing good or causing change in the world.
She isn't striving for a higher goal in life.
She defies the world.
She defies the fate.
