I am now a Superman fan, went to see the new one with a friend last night. It was so FUN! David Corenswet plays him so grounded and good to a fault, and Rachel Brosnahan stands on her own and is an excellent Lois. I think the other thing that really let the movie move in a good direction was that it didn't bog the audience down with 'introducing' him. Also, it didn't try to be gritty, grimdark, 'this is reality and humans are bad' route. Good fights, lots of laughs, and some really pointed messages.
Go see it!
