Mark S matched Mark’s vibe.

Mark S went into speaking with his outie elated! his facial expressions like when Devon told Mark S that he used to be a History Professor. childlike wonder that Mark, and fuck most outies, lost long ago. Mark comes in with his “it’s a morally good thing to do, lumon will go down forever.” and Mark S doesn’t have much but knows what he does have and what he is capable of.

when Helly talked with Dylan the previous episode she wasn’t being a good friend, saying to stay to benefit her only. she’s manipulative like her outie. they aren’t the same exact person but you can tell Helena and Helly come from the same root. 

Mark and Mark S speaking to one another feels like that to me. you can tell they come from the same root but have grown in different ways. So when Mark S says, “what about me?” in his innocent tone it’s him using what he’s got and wanting to be heard. Problem is Mark is just like Mark S and is headstrong. Both want to do the right thing. difference is Mark *thinks* the right thing for Mark S is reintegration and Mark S *knows* the right thing is to help Ms Casey.
