Nag-away kami neto 2 hrs ago. Lately, mas madalas kami magkainitan ng ulo more than ever. Pero hindi ko na matandaan at which point nangyari na kahit gano ako ka beastmode sa kanya, mas gugustuhin ko pa rin na andyan sya. Na kahit sobrang galit ko na, potcha dito ka lang. And n matter how hard the day went, this person still kisses me and reminds that Iam loved. I thank God for that every single time.

(and my mistake of sending my story to the original blogger who started all this through fan mail and making her really upset because of the length or whatever)

here's mine. it is actually really long. and i am so sorry... -------------------------------------------- I started reading the Gallagher Girls series when I was in 8th grade. I was 14 then, I think. And, now, I'm almost 20. So, I've grown up with these books. Therefore, it's difficult to, you know, decide on just one favor this series has done for me. So, I narrowed it down to two. And, here they are: 1) These books taught that it's more than okay to be smart. In fact, it's great to be smart. Like I said, I was 14 when I picked up LYKY and CMH at a book fair my middle school was hosting. I was still pretty young. So, at that time, I had an understanding in the back of my mind that "being pretty" was the greatest goal of girlhood.  But, these books praise the smart girl. They bring the power to the ladies who study, and rightfully depict them as kick-butt (literally). With the help of these books, I began to appreciate my intelligence and finally treasured it as the tool it is. More importantly, my little sister is learning the same lesson while reading about Cammie and the girls as she goes into 7th grade. And, as an older sister, I couldn't be more thankful for books and characters like these, and authors like Ally who believe whole heartily in girl power.

2) At the same time I was reading these books, I realized a passion of mine for film making. I found I love movies for the very same reason I love this series: the storytelling. Now, I'm in film school, learning how to become a film director and screenwriter one day. And, though the film industry is a difficult one, tales such as Cammie's make me bound and determine to get stories like this on screen. In fact, it's a huge lifelong dream of mine to do something with these books - even something small. And, who knows, maybe after film school and some practice, we can find a way to get the Gallagher Academy on the big screen. That is, of course, if no one's finally caught on to how genius these books are by then.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say in so many words is: thank you, Ally, for these books, for the lessons, and the inspiration. You did well.
