is it true that sol carried junkyard dog mark 2 in a guitar case in vast edge?
1. There is no official concept art of any sort of Guitar Case, let alone one specifically for the Junkyard Dog Mk.II
2. That thing is far too big to fit in your typical Guitar Case, so I highly doubt it.
3. None of the animation cut-scenes I’ve seen indicate Sol had a Guitar Case of any sort (I don’t own the game itself, so if someone wants to prove me wrong, feel free).
You might’ve mistook the Junkyard Dog itself for a Guitar Case, based on its size and shape. Also the fact it transforms might also support that illusion as well.
"(Not)Sol Fakeguy"
Someone requested I post these on my blog for archive reasons (don't ask why).
Still, it's a nice UE3 demonstration from Junya Motomura showcasing Sol's VastEdge costume.
Do we have any info on the musket-like weapon Ky uses in Vastedge?
Beyond the fact it fires long range Lightning spells like a sniper-rifle, it has no official name that I am aware.
Sorry, but that’s it.
Is Millia ever shown employing those magic handguns that she has in Vastedge during cutscenes or battles?
So far, nothing beyond VastEdge itself (which is a rather quirky title to begin with).
In the Prototype, Millia was known to wield knives, and hides a dagger in her hair in Silent Force.
Even though they were not in Xrd, what were Jam, Bridget, and Zappa doing in Guilty Gear Vastedge besides annoying Sol and Sin?
Nothing especially, beyond being annoying. Sorry, but their storyarcs just aren’t that big compared to the main events leading up to GGXrd.
Jam was last seen working towards paying off her loans on the restaurant, with Bridget working with her. I’m sure they caught wind of the bounty on Sol’s head, since they’re both technically bounty hunters on the side.
Zappa was last seen put in prison for his antics, and may or may not have been let out by Faust, depending on how the story is told. He’s still suffering from his evil spirits as usual.
Does Aksys have any plans to localize Guilty Gear Vastedge into English?
Outside of mentioning the game itself in the GGXrd Library, that’s about the extent of anything they’ve done for it.
Also, I don’t think America has a big market for pachislot cellphone games… iPad/iPhone perhaps, but that is up to ARC System Works.
Why don’t you e-mail them and ask for it? And while you’re at it, ask for a PS3 port of GG2 Overture.
