Sooo, I'm actually really excited, and I'm shaking right now, but the revamp is done. All 27 bios are completed + connections + secrets, and both Alina and I are jumping up and down in excitement, so, to all our current members that were on the list and are still interested in keeping their role, please follow the new main right here. This is where you will find us from now on, so please don't message us on here 'cause there's a big chance we might not see see it. Hi, guys. I just wanted to give you a quick update on things, seeing I'm positive a few of you saw the post I made about working on a revamp, and I know how it feels to be in the dark and not know what's happening, so I decided to give you a little sneak peak. I saw some of you guys have been pretty active even though we closed the roleplay, which made me one happy camper. I've secretly been working on a revamp the past few days, already finished 27 bios within a week, so I decided I better make this post now before it's too late, yeah? These listed people will keep their roles, and their character will stay the same completely. There will only be slight changes in their bio, but nothing too major.

If you're reading this and your character isn't on this list, then I'm really sorry but I took the inactivity (reblogging pictures doesn't count as being active!) as lack of interest in the roleplay. And if you're reading this and you've been active, but yet your character isn't on this list, then we decided to write a new bio for your faceclaim, which means it wouldn't exactly be the character you used to play before the revamp, which means we will want you to re-apply. (That makes me sound so harsh, I know, I'm really sorry if I come across unfair but I feel like this needs to be done, you know? If all characters stay the absolute same, what's the point of a revamp?) Also, that means, most  characters that aren't on this list will be deleted and won't exist in the revamp. Of course, there will be a Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Ariana Grande in the revamped version of Glamouros Hollywood, but they won't be Nick Smith, Dylan Coleman and Gabriella Rivers, if that makes any sense. Most of the plots stay the same, regarding the taken characters. Also the ships, like Rosalinda x Ethan, Ryan x Andi, and Izzy x Louis FC will stay the same. Obviously, we aren't forcing them on new members, but they'll be mentioned for sure. I only updated the bios, added a few sentences to make these bios about the same length as the new ones. The plot of the roleplay itself stayed the same, but this time, there will be much more events, an active confessions blog that I'm more than willing to run, a gossip blog, and maybe, if it's wanted in the roleplay, a magazine blog. All these things make a roleplay that much more interesting and hopefully the work I put into the revamp will pay off and people apply. Like said, there are already 27 bios written, I only need to write the connections out, think of secrets, and hopefully we'll be able to post on our new main by the beginning of next week. The link to the new main will be posted right on time, so don't you worry about that. I just wanted to give you a little update on things, and I hope you're just as excited as we are.

To be honest, we’re not even sure how to write this right now and you can believe us when we tell you that it’s definitely not easy for us, not at all. But in one, painful and brutal sentence; We have decided to close Glamorous Hollywood down for good.

 We know we’ve always said it, even until now, that we won’t ever give up on this roleplay and the truth is, we still haven’t entirely given up on it because it’s actually really painful. But to be honest, at this point, we’re just dragging the almost unavoidable all out. After running the parent of GH for over a year, we know the signs of when a roleplay needs either a fresh start or some major changes (all combined with a lot of admin work like promoting, new bios and such and that again, takes up a ton of time and requires 110% of dedication and a lot of effort). Don’t get us wrong, we really do love GH with all our heart and we would put all that effort in it in a heart beat, but the main problem really is time. Not only is it the time, but there’s only so much an admin can do to make a roleplay work. We've promoted a lot, tried to get in the tags as much as possible but -- whenever people would join us, they would leave within 24 hours or shorter because there was no one to interact with. This is no reproach. We know we wouldn’t be able to give it our all and put as much effort as needed in it at the current time and therefore it probably wouldn’t work out and the effort and time we would have put in it, would simply be wasted. This is something we had to realize, we guess, and even with that realization it’s incredible hard to let it go, but we believe it is the best. All good things must come to an end, after all. And who knows, maybe there will be some sort of new GH in the near future. (We honestly wouldn’t exclude it as we both love roleplaying a lot and creating roleplays and see people having fun and being happy because of it, is just the best feeling. That was our only intention from the very start actually).

 We see the dash is inactive, people come online, post a starter and leave. That’s not how we want you guys to remember this roleplay. As some ghost town. We decided to end this because we want you to remember Glamorous Hollywood with its shine and life. We want you to think of the amazing time we had, the events, the couples, the friendships that developed, not only IC but also OOC. We want you to remember us as the admins that put so much work and love in this. This isn’t a goodbye, this is only a see you soon.

With all that being said, we just want to thank you for sticking around and making this roleplay to how we’ll remember it. We really enjoyed this year full of interesting plots and IC drama and hope you did too. We love you guys tons and we wish you the best of luck with everything. We hope to see you soon. What if you guys revamp this? Update the bios, maybe change some faceclaims and bios? I think some people know that this roleplay isn't as active as before which makes people not audition? The main isn't updated a lot and only recently it's been active you know? This roleplay shouldn't die or be closed because it is wonderful. You admins are amazing and the themes and ideas are incredible but maybe it needs a fresh start? New rpers so no ooc drama?

Hi, babe. We're sorry that it took us so long to get back to you, but we had to discuss this ask and that took a bit longer than expected. We just want to thank you for this very sweet message. It’s really nice to know that some of you might still be interested in this roleplay and that makes us really really happy. This roleplay is our baby and it has brought us so much joy and hopefully the same applies to all of you, because that was our goal all along. And honestly, you guys are all just amazing. Truth be told, as we read this, we smiled so big and we really considered revamping, making a new start, delete the bios, have everyone re-apply, and such, but the brutal truth is, that we don't have the time at the current moment to put the needed effort and work into a big revamp. We have talked about this a lot, even though we both don’t want to close this, a revamp wouldn't work out and would be destined to fail. We're both very busy with school, especially Ines can only be online on the weekends, since she attends a boarding school, and it wouldn't be fair to announce a revamp now, just to see it not work. But, as said before, we’re not ready to let go yet, we love Glamorous Hollywood too much, so we will revamp once we've reached the infamous Christmas holidays. The concept will stay the same but we plan on creating a lot of new bios, (new characters!) and plots because after a whole year, most of them have already been played out and lost its spark. A plot twist might be in store as well.  Anyway, we can’t really tell you a lot of details right now as we don’t even know them ourselves, but we’ll definitely try our hardest to get this back up again. As for now, we will try not to let this die and keep promoting until we reach Sunday, next week.

can you please let people know that they have to answer starters too? I see so many starters not being replied to but people make starters anyway. there's a handful of people who don't answer anyone's starters and then some of those complain that no one answers their starters. they need to realize that in order for people to reply to them they need to reply to others.

IMPORTANT.

So, guys, what I'm going to talk about now, is something very important to me, and I'm pretty sure it's just as important to most of you, and it needs to be said. There's been OOC drama for the very first time around, and I would've never thought it would get this far, but Alyssa, Megan, our Lucy Hale FC, deactived and left our roleplay due to the mean anons she has received the past few days. I don't exactly know how all of this happened, and all I can say is, it escalated quickly, and Sarah, our Hayley, was so nice to enlighten me and tell me the whole story, and I have a lot of things to say. First of all, it's okay to dislike people, that's a human thing to do, and it's okay to like this person more than the other, that's normal, and absolutely acceptable. But what isn't acceptable is sending someone hate, rude words and most importantly, hide your face behind the anon button. You have to know, there's a fine line between stating your opinion and hating. The moment you throw insults at someone, and call them an ''attention seeker'' and ''just leave the rp already'' is called hating, and not stating your opinion. And hating over the Internet, is also called cyber bullying, and bullying one of our members is not okay, and if we should ever find out who sends these hurtful words, will be kicked out and removed from the rp instantly. It isn't the first time it happened, and it's not nice. This isn't only about Alyssa though, but it had to be said. Don't send anon hate whatsoever. That only counts OOC, though! You can send IC hate as much as you please, it causes drama, makes it more fun, but please don't start hating on the player. However, at the end of the day, there's nothing we can do to stop it, nothing we can change, but if you happen to be a victim of one of these anons, please, please turn your anon button off for a week or two. I probably don't make any sense, but I love you all a ton, and knowing someone in this roleplay actually sends anons out to hurt someone's feelings, makes me upset. I love you. You're amazing and beautiful. We don't want more people leaving because of it, and if you think so badly about someone, please keep it yourself or rant about that person to a friend of yours. Please. OOC drama makes an admin really sad.

Edit: I can only agree with everything that Ines said. Sending someone hate is just rude and plainly inacceptable. You don't even know how much it can affect the person you direct your hurtful words to, while you're hiding so cowardly behind an anon button. If you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say it! What's the point of it anyway? Does it make you feel better bringing someone else down? I honestly don't understand it. I just really want everyone to be kind to one another. I mean come on, that shouldn't be too much to ask for.

Starting tomorrow, you have two weeks to complete the writing, meaning the para's should be done or at least have started until Monday, July 15th.

It's upsetting me to see people join our roleplay without taking it seriously. One time, we accepted our Ashley Benson FC, and she already deactivated in less than 24 hours. Why put the effort into something that you don't plan being dedicated to? Maybe it only doesn't make sense to me, but I'm rambling. The point is, we totally understand if you're not feeling the roleplay, or if there's something you want to change about your character, or something else you want to discuss - we're really open for that and we're understanding always, you know us. Message us and tell us you will leave the roleplay and even though we will miss you, we will love you for letting us know. Don't just deactivate. That's really frustrating.
