Running vSphere ESXi 8 with several VMs get this Dell Micro Optiplex quite hot.

OS: vSphere ESXi 8.0

CPU: i5-10505 (6C/12T)

RAM: 64GB Crucial DDR4-2666

Sadly this box complains (prompts every few mins) about a CPU fan error if you do not use a Dell fan (even with a Dell Fan to Standard Fan pin adapter). I was really looking forward to cutting a whole in the top for the cooler to stick out. However, I will need to find an alternate solution. It was a bit of fun attaching this ghetto cooler.
