Gandhari dance
Gandhari dance In the Shekhawati area of Rajasthan, Dhing starts from Vasant Panchami only and the dhalamals are started to be sung. Some dhakal bhakti pradhan and some dhamaal princess are prominent. When 15 days stay in Holi, village-village starts to become a Gandh. It is said to play guitar. Two days before the Holika combustion, there are Geindas. Hundreds of men participate in these events. This is the folk dance of Shekhawati Zone. From the Holi to fifteen days before the collective events of this dance are being organized in Sujangarh, Churu, Ramgarh, Laxmangarh, Sikar and its surrounding areas. There is no distinction between age, class and caste in this dance. Traditionally, this dance was done in the moonlight night, but now electricity is also done. Nagada is the main instrument of this dance. Dancers are holding small sticks in their hands. Together with the rhythm of the nagad these poles roam each other and move on. Folklore with dance is also sung to match the contracts. The four quantity contracts are played at slow speed. Gradually, his speed is faster. As the dance moves, the sound of the nagad is also intense. Different types of conjugations are made in this dance, in which saints, hunters, Seth-Sethani, postman, bride, bride, etc. are prominent. Every dancer is curly bent in his feet. It is similar to the Daranda of Marwar and the Garba dance of Gujarat. Like Garba in Gindar, many men take wooden poles in both hands and bump into the front and back of their peers and move on in the circle. A high loft is made in the center of the circle on which a high flag is also placed. The person sitting on the scaffold plays. The music is played with the sounds of Nagad, Chung, Dhamal and Pundi, which is played on the rhythm. The main distinction between garba and gindar is that of sticks, the necklace of gindar is more than the size in the shape of the garba stalks. In Garba, there are couples of men and women, whereas in gyandar, men mainly dance by dancing women. The Gindar Mahotsav is organized at many places in the Shekhawati area. In many places there are competitions for playing gyandas. Gindar is sometimes called the Gindari. Various types of folk songs are sung with this folk dance- Hard Saan Ii Sudht Kathya Sai Aayo Zero, Katha Sai Ayo A Bholi Bai Tharo Biro.
