Been a bit since I’ve posted and maybe a bit corny (like any of us are above it all) but made a quick moodboard for myself, the Apostle. I don’t think it fully captures most things correctly, but it was a quick exercise and I’m sick rn, so bear with me.

‘To define is to limit’ isn’t an understatement it’s..it’s been hard to peg a true image or way to capture/explain what I was. No words feel right, no imagery feels fitting, and that feels like it’s own cliche to explain it that way, even. I know now I was Quintessence and turned Water so I draw a lot from deep space and deep sea imagery; they make sense. But that feels like just the tip or something.

orion, my adopted brother, around the same age as me. water and earth, super fucking talented, was trained to be a backup for a few ghouls though i cant remember which ones... i used to look up to him a lot and we were basically besties since we were little i love him so much

phantom, my older brother !! obviously, you know him. he's a quint ghoul. super jealous he gets to be on the band. he's super cool and awesome and i always wanted to be like him even if we weren't incredibly close.

my uncle, perpetua !! another absolute loser like his brother (yet somehow more so). absolutely batshit insane. keeps getting high in the middle of the fucking night. i love him. /fam

Just experienced a fascinating flash of Nameless Ghoul exomemory that we haven't ever had before!! I was listening to Ghost (specifically Mummy Dust) alone in my kitchen, dancing and singing along and generally acting Creaturelike but not actively aware of a Ghoul shift, when I had a sudden flash of .... memory? For a second I felt like I was onstage, playing and dancing as myself. I could almost see the darkness of the space and the green stage lights, feel my helmet and glamour, hear my fellow Ghouls playing and my Papa growling the lyrics. It was just a moment, but felt really cool. Very solidly in my Ghoul feels now.

didn't fuck it up!! Anywaysss here's what I remember looking like! (Water ghoul!)

I was easily identified by the triple horn rows or the extra piece of leather that wrapped around the back of my helmet from right above the tube. I played backup guitar for a while, then moved to vocals once Impera was released, but kept up on guitar just in case! Super fun! The wings are just there for the sake of the doodle :)
