question 🙋‍♀️ why CAN goalies just leave

incredibly valid question!! in short, it's called 'pulling the goalie' - when a team is sucking ass, the coach can go okay fuck it. no more goalie. and like. so in hockey there's six people per team on the ice - 5 players (3 forwards, 2 defensemen) and 1 goalie. but when the coach pulls the goalie they get to put in another player, which means number advantage! 6 players now! more offensive power and hopefully opportunity to score! with the tradeoff of no one in the net. this pull usually happens near the end of a game, when the team is already generally losing. so like, if the opposition gets an empty net goal then yeah that's embarrassing as hell but like, they were losing either way so ehhhhh you know? sometimes it works, sometimes they lose worse than they would've if they'd kept the goalie.

but it is just also very funny because the goalie does just Dip. goodbye losers we're not winning I'm outta here

rin - BACHIRA!!! my bachirin besties agenda stays undefeated... guy who hates everyone and everything but tolerates this one freak bc it's either live with it or die of annoyance bc the freak WILL NOT LEAVE

kaiser - ummmm lol chilling out... no but I think isagi actually works really really well as a foil to kaiser and it's like, kaiser needs someone that's on his level not above or below and isagi is that!! plus I firmly believe kaisagi is like soulmates in the sense I understand you better than anyone else. and also want to kill you but yk

okay so for this what you have to understand is that I initially read blue lock in 2018 okay I was kind of stupid. that being said.

isagi - average protag, he's kind of stressed it's funny // my fave protag ever he's so everything to me everyone give it up for slursagi 🗣️

rin - oh my goddd he's so emo // he's such an interesting character and his dynamic with the others is soo fascinating. also this is like pretty realistic teenager behaviour. also oh my goddd he's so emo /pos
