Design is based on A Wild Sheep Chase by Haruki Murakami.

I borrowed more from bloodborne in terms of how things work since I don’t really want to spend too much time on this thing. It also had like a nice translucent jelly quality at some point while I was painting but forgot to take a screenshot.

The sheep was described to have "feelers" so it's a tentacle thing that has formed itself into the shape of a sheep. Thankful the Bloodborne community helped me with this design since they essentially document everything they find in the game. Kinda hard to find Lovecraftian monster inspiration when everything is just octopuses everywhere. I know it's nothing special on its own and I was basically going to treat the thing like a materials study but I'll probably draw a version with like parts of the tentacles unraveling just to be like "hey monster design" coz that'll bring in the likes.
