Ballet Talya! Which role has been your favorite so far? What is your dream role? What perfume do you use, darling? - Pinkcupboardwitch
(awww @pinkcupboardwitch, yes!! all the Ballet!Talya! For those of you who are a little or a lot confused, Ballet!Talya/Ghost!Talya is a feature point of my Shades of Magic fanfic Spiritus Vitae. She’s a whole lot of fun.)
“Oh, this is a lovely question! I’ve always been in love with the romantic pieces, the lovely delicate ballets like La Sylphides and Swan Lake. La Bayadere was also delightful fun, and I’ve always had an affection for La Corsaire’s music... Oh, dream role? I only performed as a lead twice in my lifetime -- Myrtha, Queen of the Willis in Giselle, which come to think of it now feels like it could have been and omen...
But I had always wanted to be Kitri or Dulcinea in Don Quixote. Their variations were just so beautiful and technical, I used to stand in the wings and do the steps along with the leads.
Perfume? Oh, I had several scents I loved -- neroli, orange blossom, violets. Holland gifted me one eau du cologne that I still have an affinity for. It was called Artemesia, and once i figure out how to conjure scent with my spirit, that will be what I pick.”
