ranboo has spent eight months in limbo!

that's 240 days.

does he still remember tubbo and michael? techno or phil? tommy?

does ghostbur?

of course they do, i mean, they could never forget, right? not with the snatches of the real world ghostbur gets from the dot matrix-- not when ranboo would do anything to make sure he remembered. he would never forgive himself if he forgot.

surely ranboo wouldn't forget how tommy had kept the allium he gave him-- how he took all of the blame for george's house.

(and on ghostbur's end, surely he wouldn't forget how he failed)

surely he wouldn't forget how phil had let him stay with them.

(ghostbur wouldn't forget his father.)

ranboo wouldn't forget raiding mansions with techno, wouldn't forget how techno refused to abandon him.

(ghostbur remembers sparring with him, doesn't he?)

and most of all.. ranboo wouldn't forget tubbo. he wouldn't forget their son. he wouldn't forget the hours he spent with tubbo. he wouldn't forget the rings they had on their horns or the hour they'd spent rescuing michael. he wouldn't.

but eight months is a long time.

(and for ghostbur, it's been even longer... even longer than his living counterpart.)

perhaps it's best if we never know.
