bucket list blitz / chris & noah @ghostglitters​  / spend an entire day at an arcade

           “uh, hey, do you know if this place has got donkey kong??” chris asks absentmindedly to the person next to him, looking around at the eclectic game selection in the arcade. when he finally turns to look at the male, his brows furrow in confusion as the other’s features look distinctly similar. he knows he’s seen him in passing, but definitely never met him properly. tentatively, he questions, “hey, uh -- do i know you?? i’m, uh, chris. sorry if this is completely awkward,” he rambles, rubbing the back of his head uncertainly.

it wasn’t untypical for matt to enter his apartment at odd hours covered in sweat and grass, but he’d stopped apologizing for it after the first few instances. it wasn’t like his roommate was going to be sleeping, anyway. football grasped tightly in his hands, he cautiously opened the door, making sure that he didn’t awaken anyone else on their hall.  “ you won’t believe what happened today, man. some high school chick from around here sat on the bleachers and watched me practice for hours. it was pretty fucking creepy. “

a lot had happened in three weeks. zombies had attacked what many people in magnolia called their safe escape, noah had gone missing, and matt had locked himself in their apartment. it took an entire month for everything to finally calm down, but now something was different between the roommates. matt hadn’t actually seen noah in person since his disappearance, but as soon as he checked his phone and saw that he was back in town, he grabbed his football and headed back to their shared space.

upon opening the front door of the apartment, he kicked off his nikes and tossed hit football onto his bed. when he finally caught sight of noah, he let out a soft gasp, not expecting to see his roommate so... transparent. “ noah, dude, “ he began, wiping the sweat on his forehead with the back of his sleeve, “ where the hell have you been? “

the zombies crawl over to the male, using their upper body to pull them along.    they spot the prey,    and their speed increases like that.     the hunger for flesh dominates over anything       as     they reach an arm towards the male,    using the leverage to grip the male’s leg and leaves a heavy chomp on it. // @ghostglitters
