I mean, I fucking love language. It’s just that you can totes do a class so so wrong, like that. Also that whole “C for doing all the work” biz is bullshit.
Our Spanish classes (I only know about the 100levels, I'm not sure about the others) are SO dictated by the language department that it's insane.
No matter who you have, you'll do the same online assignments (which are RIDICULOUS and literally just busy work/gives you 3 attempts to do it/gives you the answers), the same lab assignments (which never ever relate to the material and are usually like "watch this video, write a response and five questions in Spanish regarding the video), and you'll do the same "get into groups and introduce yourself to five new people" EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
I'm taking it online next semester because there is no point in me coming to class for this stuff, honestly.
It's pure busy work and I'm not learning ANYTHING from the class.
