it took a little conversation over the walkies with podcast and phoebe to get a solution to help you

he found some tough gloves and carefully approaches, removing your hands from the electrical bank

you passed out, leaving yourself in his arms

he held you like that until you woke up, delirious and drained

he refused to let you do big shit with your powers anymore

at least not without training

being practically the only person with powers in the world didn't make it easy

so, every weekend, you'd train in some dump to grab control of your powers until you'd be able to tackle relighting the city and shit like that

I like Lucy’s little speech in ep 8 where she tells george he’s not a third wheel like ruby stokes rllyyyy nailed the whole ugly crying thing so well shjdkcl

I also like the scene where lw bandages lucy up (lmao who doesn’t) and the way he says smth along the lines of ‘when you like the spotlight as much as me it feels hard to realise that you might just be there to shine it on someone else’ LIKEEE the vulnerability??? 😭

The whole winkman scene too like when lw is trying to convince him to spare lucy and that no one would miss him??? Esp after the ep 2 ending where he says he understand lucy feeling like she’d be better off dead????? AND AFTERWARDS when Lucy’s like you know you can tell me anything right? And he just awkwardly laughs like……can someone pls give him a hug or smth 😭😭😭😭

Also this isn’t exactly a line or from the show lol but there’s this whole plot line in the books where lw used to have an assistant called Robin and it rlly rlly intrigues me cuz that must have been so instrumental in shaping his psyche!! The details are a little hazy cuz it’s been a while since I’ve read the books tho but it rlly makes me wonder if and when and how much lw thinks about robin
